The ‘Guerilla Knitters’ strike again!

Last year it was the sundial on Pearson’s Quay; this year the cycle racks on Lion Quay have been given the woolly treatment! We hope the work of these unknown ‘knit bombers’ have put a smile on your faces this week – the colourful stripes and the knitted decorations of flowers, sunshine and even some little creatures are a brilliantly creative alternative to the usual painted street art. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure, do pay a visit to see the intricate craftsmanship and enjoy the fun of this unusual ‘graffiti’. We hope the installation will last for a long time, and look forward to seeing what these anonymous textile artists will do next…
