The Council meets on the second Thursday every month at 7pm in St Lawrence School Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend and there is a Have Your Say section near the beginning of each meeting, where you can speak on any issue that you would like to raise with the Council. Please note time for this section is limited, and the Chairman will ask you to keep your comments brief.
The Council’s Maintenance Committee meets every two months to consider and make decisions regarding ongoing projects, works needed and other maintenance issues.
The Council’s Finance & Personnel Committee meets every two months to monitor and control the budget, income and expenditure, and to discuss and take decisions on staffing issues and any other financial matters.
Members of the public are welcome to attend these committee meetings, and there is a Have Your Say section at each meeting, where you can raise issues for consideration.
In addition to the full council meetings and the two committees, the council at times convenes a sub-committee or advisory group to consider a particular issue or project.
